About Us

At The Mother & Baby Partnership, we believe that the transition from pregnancy to parenthood is one of life’s most profound and personal journeys. It deserves time, empathy, and high-quality support, not rushed conversations or inconsistent care.

We are a growing team of experienced, registered midwives offering personalised care in the comfort of your home. Our mission is simple but powerful:
To provide safe, compassionate, and empowering care for families during the antenatal and postnatal period.

Whether you need clinical checks, feeding support, or simply reassurance and time to rest — we’re here to walk alongside you.

Why We Exist

Working within the NHS, we’ve seen first-hand how much families value time with their midwife. But the reality is, the busy nature of hospital care doesn’t always allow for the depth of support that new parents truly need.

By offering private, midwife-led care at home, we can give you:

  • More time

  • Greater continuity

  • Care that fits around you and your baby

Our Values

  • Kindness & Respect – Every family deserves care that’s non-judgemental and compassionate.

  • Safety First – All our midwives are fully qualified, insured, and trained to support your physical and emotional wellbeing.

  • Empowerment – We’ll help you feel informed, confident, and capable in your new role as a parent.

  • Personalised Support – No two journeys are the same. That’s why we tailor every visit to your needs.

Where did we start?

The Mother & Baby Partnership was founded by a senior NHS midwife with over 10 years’ experience in antenatal, labour, and postnatal care. After leading private patient services and working as a ward manager, she saw the lasting impact of one to one care, especially after birth.

“The postnatal period shapes how a family begins. I wanted to create a service that gives families the time, care and continuity they deserve.”

Working With Us

Our midwives are NMC-registered, experienced, and carefully selected. We also work alongside trusted professionals, including lactation consultants and infant wellbeing specialists, so you always feel supported.

Whether you’re preparing for your baby, navigating the early weeks, or simply looking for reassurance, we’re here to help.

While we provide personalised, one to one care, we always work within our professional boundaries and refer to NHS services or consultants if care moves outside the normal pathway. Every client is encouraged to remain registered with an NHS trust.
